Not all images must be the same size on the various social networks, due to the limits allowed in each social network and the way they appear on different mobile devices.
These are Swonkie's recommendations for each social network:
- Using images with a resolution of 1200 x 628 pixels
- For the link image to appear in a rectangular shape, use at least a resolution of 484 x 252 pixels.
- Horizontal: 1080 x 900 pixels
- Vertical: 900 x 1080 pixels
- Square: 1080 x 1080 pixels
Instagram Stories
The images of the stories can vary from device to device due to the different screen resolutions, however images with a ratio of 9:16 should be published, for example: 607 x 1080 pixels
