For the social network Instagram the reporting data is sent by the Facebook API, in the API there are some limitations that can be checked on the third party platforms that use the API to connect with the social network. Below we show the information and limitations that exist in the area of Instagram reports.
🔹 When adding an Instagram account for the first time on the platform the reporting data will only be displayed the next day.
🔹 When a new Instagram account is added in Swonkie, no history is returned for most charts except for the following:
- Total Posts (The last 60 posts that are within 29 days are returned)
- Profile Views
- Website Clicks
- Email Clicks
- Phone Number Clicks
- Clicks on Message Forwarding
- Clicks on Get Directions
- Publications List (Last 60 posts are returned)
- Top Posts (Last 60 posts are returned)
🔹 Only organic data is displayed, except for the graphs of Reach and Impressions of the account where you can see both organic and paid data.
🔹 You can see data up to 1 day before the current day (Example: Today - Day 5 | Data is presented up to day 4).
🔹 No data is shown for Stories that are shares of other stories.
🔹 The Total Reach of the selected time range is not shown because this value is not returned by Facebook, for this reason it is possible to check the average reach.
🔹 In the Replies to Stories graph, due to facebook privacy rules, messages from Europe and Japan are not counted. Learn more: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/guides/insights/
